Grace is    praising God in music and song

The above is the motto the Grace Choir chose in conjunction with the Ministry Fair.  It is pithy and succinct.  But music at Grace is also

  • the practice of our most private devotions and adoration in a corporate setting
  • the commitment of time and talent to hone our efforts so that we bring our best, first fruits to the LORD
  • gifted, sincere people giving selflessly to lead, amplify and accommodate the worship of the congregation
  • presentation of choral and instrumental music which multiplies and complements the day's readings from Holy Scripture
  • all this and more.

If you are inclined to participate in the musical leadership of the 10:30 a.m. worship service --- whether as singer or instrumentalist --- please be invited to attend either the regular midweek rehearsal on Wednesday evening in the Choir Room (#11) and/or the Gathering Rehearsal each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. in the Church at “choir corner.”  The focus will be review and final plans for the day’s music, particularly the music during the distribution of Holy Eucharist and at the taking of the Offertory.  As gifted people we are called (and blessed) to give back our best to the LORD.  Bring your talents, your grateful hearts, your eager minds, and willing spirits to the Gathering Rehearsal and let’s make our most joyful noise a regular feature of our worship every week.

If you are interested to play or sing in solo or small ensemble during the Offertory period for both services, please be invited and make yourself known to the Music Director, Dr. Don McManus, with an email to:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Heartsongs

Heartsongs, our 5:00 PM Service with Holy Eucharist, allows a variety of musicians and musical experiences in worship. From our service with music from the Taize community of the first Sunday of each month, to a variety of celtic, contemporary and old time forms of music, Heartsongs is our expression of musical diversity. Service music is available two weeks ahead for musicians to rehearse at 3:45 PM on the service Sunday. Contact Mtr Janice This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
