At the Dahlia Cafe in Liberty Hill.
Here at Grace Church we know that the fastest way to feel at home in a new church is to know a few other people. No matter the look of the church building, how motivating the preaching, how inspiring the liturgy, thought provoking the classes, community truly happens only when people are brought together and share in one another's lives.Grace Families provides lots of opportunities for people to gather for fellowship, supporting one another and nurturing friendships. It could be around a table for a shared meal, at a bowling party at Mel's, at a night at the Round Rock Express Ballpark, at our annual parish picnic, at Camp Allen for our parish retreat, or simply sipping coffee and visiting with each other after church on Sunday.
However it happens, this is a place where you can feel connected - to God and to each other.
You might have heard the story about Flat Stanley. Let us tell you the tale of Fr. Steve's mouse, George. One fine spring day, he was taking a catnap, err... we mean mouse-nap. He was in the best corner of the nave resting in a warm beam of sunshine. Suddenly there was a loud crash! The hymn board fell on top of him! When he woke up, he was as thin as a piece of paper. Please take him with you when you travel. He can be tucked into your suitcase without taking any extra space (He won't put you over the weight limit either!) Take pictures of him with you, and keep him inside an extra church bulletin if you visit a church while you are traveling. We can't wait to see all the places George will go! Send us your pictures electronically, and we can post them on the website under Grace Families. Take care and safe travels.
