Men of Grace

If you're not a late sleeper, come join the rest of Grace Parish's morning men who meet together each Wednesday morning at a little before 8 AM.  They gather at Duke's Smokehouse, just off Austin Avenue, for a good breakfast, good fellowship and a good sharing time together. There's no membership roll or dues, and no agenda, but you'll get supportive comments, perhaps some advice and often, laughter.  The men's breakfast is also a time of sharing joys, concerns, and sorrows, with the opportunity to ask for prayers and the assistance of others. Traveling Monday Female Gathering

There are book clubs, prayer clubs, bible clubs, youth clubs.  How about a club where women just gather and talk about a predetermined subject (honestly, no study involved)?  And there are no dues, no attendance fees, no admission costs (unless you count the bottle of "whine" you may bring with you.  How about that?

And, how about the subject is selected by the attendees; not the leader, not the host, not the "gal in charge"?  What if we talk about a book one month and about unruly hair the next month?  What if we talk about nutrition for the body one month and about nutrition for the soul the next?

No kids, no husbands, no dress code, no gossip, no requirements, no leading of information.  What happens at this "club" stays at this "club".  Hey, how about we don't call in a CLUB at all, we call it -- The Last Monday (of the Month) Female Gathering - LMFG.  Contact Fran Norris at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Saints & Sinners

This program is a group of eight parishioners meeting four times during the year to have dinner in each other's homes.  Each couple serves as hosts for one of the four dinners and assigns menu items to the other three couples.  Each group of eight parishioners select their own dining times (brunch, lunch or dinner) and days of week to hold the meal (weekends or weekdays).  This is an excellent way to get to know other members of the parish and to enjoy good food and fellowship.  Contact Pat Moore at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Newcomers Dinners

We have a dinner every few months to welcome all of our newcomers. This is a time for you to meet members of the vestry and other members of the church in a more relaxed atmosphere.  Contact Stevann Wilson at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
